Organic, delicately sliced and recipe-ready pickled ginger with no artificial sweeteners or preservatives, and no added colour. Serve with sushi, sashimi, spring rolls, coleslaw, gourmet sandwiches, grilled foods. Please use the liquid marinade for salad dressing or as in ingredient to make one. Depending on the season, it is made in China or Fiji. Refrigerate after opening. Once opened, for freshest flavor, use within 2 months. GINGER DRINK RECIPE © Wise Tea Garden. Strengthen your immunity, calm your mind and load yourself with vitamins. 1. Slice a large ginger root thinly, put in a 2L pot, cover with cold distilled water. Bring to boil. 2. Reduce heat, and simmer on a low heat for 10-15 minutes. 3. Remove from heat and let sit for 10-15 min. 4. Drink hot, or when the ginger infusion is at room temperature, enhance it with freshly squeezed organic orange juice: Fill half of the cup/glass with ginger drink and half - orange juice. Put a half of the lime or lemon slice on the top, infuse for a few minutes. Semi-Sweet: Add 1/4 of the cup freshly squeezed organic lemon juice and 1/4 - orange juice. Sour: Replace orange juice with lemon or pomegranate juice, or 1/4 - lemon juice + 1/4 - distilled water. For maximum benefits, Drink Hot: Add freshly brewed good quality Organic Green Tea, and a half teaspoon of good Raw Honey. Approx. proportion: 1 Large size root for approx. 1.5-2 L cold distilled water. Adjust to your taste. Note: Please don't pour freshly squeezed juices into hot ginger infusion. The vitamin C will be destroyed. |
